Describe where water appears
Tell us about ponding, seepage, irrigation and changes after rain. Existing drain outlets should be photographed from a safe location, without probing or altering them.
Consider the discharge path
A drainage change needs a suitable destination and an understanding of adjacent property. A new hole or trench is not automatically an acceptable or effective solution.
Coordinate with the wall design
Where engineering is required, drainage details belong in that coordinated scope. Construction should follow the selected details rather than improvising behind an existing wall.
Photos help start the review. Access, concealed conditions and required professional review can change the construction scope.
